Peter was a popular columnist at The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Tuscan Citizen, and several other newspapers and magazines. Peter started his own publishing company, Chili Dog Press, and has authored several books. In this episode he talks about his latest two books "Forbidden Fruit" and "Not in Our Town", which involve the Mob in the Midwest, specifically Newport, KY and Cincinnati, OH. Peter also goes on to talk about how news media has changed over the past 40 years and how it monetizes sensationism.
